MARIANGELA CICCONE

Mariangela is quintessentially Italian in style and flair. A native of L'Aquila, Mariangela is an event specialist and art director providing expertise to Poplar Events as well as Body & Pole Inc., the largest Pole and Aerial Dance studio in New York City. She was also the Art Curator and Event Manager for the CLIO Art Fair where she conceptualized, planned, and installed exhibitions for more than two dozen artists.

 

Mariangela was an event coordinator for Lorelei Events Group where she managed exhibitors for both the 2015 and 2017 Greater & Greener international urban parks conferences and coordinated more than 150 volunteers for the 2019 Greater & Greener conference in Denver. Recently, she co-managed the 2022 Greater & Greener conference in Philadelphia and the Brooklyn Hospital Founders Ball at the Brooklyn Museum.

 

Prior to coming to the U.S., Mariangela was the creative coordinator for PanCafé Giglio in the Pescara area of Italy. She holds a post-graduate certificate in event planning from the European School of Economics and a bachelor's degree in the preservation and management of cultural heritage from the Università degli Studi di Macerata.
